Chalet Isard is a perfect base for summer holidays or winter ski breaks.  Based at the foot of the pistes of Cambre d'Aze in a quiet sector of the village the chalet has everything you need for a comfortable holiday.

There is private off-road parking with steps leading up to the chalet. A garden surrounds the entire chalet with plenty of space for children to play or for you to relax in the sun, or enjoy a BBQ. There is a built in BBQ on the balcony and garden furniture is provided.

Inside the chalet there is a large lounge/dining room, a very well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, etc, TV, DVD player, log fire. You have the possibility of taking an option of wifi access so you can keep in touch with the real world if needs be. There is a double bedroom on the ground floor along with a bathroom (with bath). Upstairs there are two twin bedrooms, a room with bunkbeds and a shower and toilet.

You can sit on the balcony - or in the comfort of the lounge - and watch skiers and snowboarders coming down the red piste just opposite, or in the late afternoon/early evening see the deer or foxes coming out onto the empty pistes.

Chalet des Pyrenees - 4 bedrooms, sleeps 8

This chalet is situated just 400m from the pistes and chairlift in St Pierre dels Forcats and near to lots of mountain activities so will be ideal for either summer or winter breaks.

On the main floor the chalet comprises of a large living room with wood burner, leading onto a south facing balcony. Leading off this main room there is a bedroom with twin beds with storage,  and a bathroom with bath and shower. The kitchen has quality appliances and is well equipped. The dining table seats up to 10 people.

On the upper floor there are two bedrooms each with double beds and storage, and a shower room and toilet.

On the lower floor there is another bedroom with a double bed and wardrobe. On this level there is also a sauna and a third bathroom. Access at this ground level is possible with space to store your skis etc. There is private parking at the side of the chalet.

Prices from £1100 to £1750 per week.

Chalet Soleil - 5 bedrooms, sleeps 10

This deluxe chalet is just a year old and is in an ideal position for winter or summer holidays.

On the main floor the chalet comprises of a large living room with wood burner, leading onto a large south facing balcony. There is a large dining table with ten dining chairs, quality kitchen furnishings, a double bedroom and a bathroom with jacuzzi jet bath and  shower.

The upper floor has two bedrooms each with two single beds. There is also a shower room and toilet.

On the lower floor there are two bedrooms, a bathroom and the sauna. There is plenty of space making this an ideal games room for the children.

Prices from £1000 to £3000 per week.

Chalet des Pyrenees - 5 bedrooms, sleeps 12

This superb chalet was completed this spring and is in an ideal position for winter or summer holidays.

On the main floor the chalet comprises of a large living room with wood burner, leading onto a large south facing balcony, oak table and chairs, quality kitchen furnishings, a bedroom and bathroom with bath and separate shower.

The upper floor has two bedrooms each with two single beds and there is a shower room and toilet.

On the lower floor there are two bedrooms (one with two single beds and one with a double bed), a large furnished living room area with table and chairs leading out onto the terrace. On this level there is also a sauna, bathroom and area for storing your skis, etc.

Prices from £1400 to £2300 per week.

The complex of 10 chalets shares access to a covered, heated swimming pool. No refunds will be given in the event of the piscine not being available.

These chalets are just 400m from the GR36 and the GR10 runs through the village nearby. You can wander down through the forest to the Thermal Baths at St Thomas, collect mushrooms or take a trip on the little Yellow Train which runs from Villefranche de Conflent to the border town of Latour de Carol. Mountain bikes can be hired locally or you could sign up one of the other multitude of activities available in the area.
