Situated in the heart of the Pyrenees Catalanes, near to both Spain and Andorra, Font Romeu is a wonderful base to discover the fantastic region and all it has to offer. The town is well known for its sunny and exceptionally clean climate.

Font Romeu is a lively town with lots of restaurants and bars, shops, supermarket, a cinema, casino and internet cafe all to be found on the main streets of the town centre.

This sporting town and ski station offers a whole host of activities depending on the holiday season.

In summer : walking, mountain-biking, climbing, kite, paragliding, canyoning, rafting, swimming and ice-skating are just some of the activities available.

In winter : ski, snowboard, raquettes snowkite and paragliding are available.

For skiers a free navette runs close to most hotels and apartments taking you to the gondola which runs up from the town centre to the ski station. (By car this is approx 5km). The ski station offers 54km of downhill pistes (ski pass approx 26 euros) for all abilities and 111km of cross-country skiing.
